How to join

The NGVFA is a membership organisation, In order to access the full range of services you must first become a member.
Who can join as a full member?
Those affected by Gulf War 1 and Gulf War 2 (Iraq), the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan, and all future desert conflicts.
Those affected who are supported by the NGVFA include:
- Veterans (whether ill or not)
- Service personnel who were vaccinated but were non-deployed
- Armed forces personnel who are still serving
- Family members
- Widows / widowers
- Civilians contracted to the armed forces
Full membership is £10 per year for UK residents, or £15 for overseas. Individual membership would also include your immediate family - partners, children, parents and siblings.
Who can join as an associate member?
Anybody who doesn’t fit the above criteria can join as an associate member, but access is restricted to certain services.
Associate membership is £5 per year for UK residents, or £10 for overseas.

How do I join?
Use one of the following methods below to become a member of the NGVFA:
- Step 1: Download the full membership pack or associate membership pack
- Step 2: Print a copy
- Step 3: Complete the forms with all your relevant information
- Step 4: Return the forms by post along with either a cheque, postal order or standing order confirmation form for £10 (UK) or £15 (overseas) to:
NGVFA, Building E, Office 8, Chamberlain Business Centre,
Chamberlain Road, Hull, HU8 8HL
Option 2
- Step 1: Contact the NGVFA offices on 0845 257 4853 between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

- Step 1: Go to our contact us page and fill out our online contact form requesting a membership pack
What about my privacy ?
We take your privacy very seriously. All the information we collect about you and your circumstances is treated as confidential and held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will not disclose anything about you to anyone outside the NGVFA office without your express permission or unless it is required by law. We do not share or sell your details to any third party for marketing or other such purposes.
Where we do collate information from our members' database for research, reporting and statistics, this is done in a way that no personal, identifiable information is used or given out.
