Event : The Humber Bridge Half Marathon

Location: The Humber Bridge, Yorkshire

Amount raised: £141

On the 26^th June 2008, thirty six year old Michelle Foster - Senior Admin Officer at the NGVFA offices - ran The Humber Bridge Half Marathon.

"I was pretty nervous standing on that start line. I couldn't quite believe that today was the day. The culmination of 6 months hard training"

The race began at 10.45am and along with the 100’s of others who turned out Michelle conquered the grueling course and completed it in 2 hours and 21 minutes.

In total Michelle raised £141 for the NGVFA and hopefully with a bit of luck she will be fund raising for years to come.
