Joe was unfortunately unable to attend the respite break this year, but I am pleased to announce that he has been awarded a Gold Star for his fundraising efforts over the years.
Joe has been contributing to the charity since 2005 with monthly donations, general donations, collection tubs and donated items. He was awarded the Gold Star with a certificate for raising £1,239.34 up to the end of 2012, and the donations still continue to come in.
We really appreciate all that Joe has done over the years and I wanted to share this with all our members and their families. Thank you Joe for your continued efforts.
The NGVFA would like to thank all the Charitable Trusts and Foundations who have donated to our cause for their generosity. This support helps fund our services, as well as providing for our running costs, and we are truly grateful. Without this generosity we could not provide our vital services to so many.
In the last financial year we received grants from the following:
(unfortunately we cannot name all of our supporters as some wish to remain anonymous)
If you are aware of any Trusts or Foundations that may support our cause please contact us.
We work closely with Seafarers UK, and they have supported us with funding grants over a number of years. Their funding is very important to us and helps us provide our services to our members.

They have also made a video specifically featuring a Gulf 2 Veteran, and including Maria Rusling - http://youtu.be/ueZ8Bx7iyzQ
