Harry Hurst

We have just heard this news about a past member Harry Hurst, it was posted on Facebook by one of his friends:

"It's with a sad heart that I post the passing of a fellow GWS sufferer Harry Hurst passed away on Tuesday night".

We have no more information at this time

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.

Malcolm Marvin

We have heard that another veteran has fallen - Malcolm Marvin, who passed away on the 29th September 2015.

We unfortunately know very little of this former Army veteran, we believe he was in the 28 Signal Regiment.

Anyone who wishes to attend the funeral the details are:
St Matthews, Barrow-in-Furness Friday 16th October at 1400 hours

Robert Peel
1951 - 2015

We have heard that another member, Robert Peel, has passed away on Monday 14th September.

Rab had been ill for some time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Fiona and family at this very sad time.

Gary Munro, Royal Highland Fusiliers
1969 - 2015

We have just heard from Gary's mum that on Wednesday 27th May Gary took his own life; although he was rushed to hospital he died later that evening.

Gary was a Gulf 1 veteran living in Glasgow.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

Keith Elvey
1957 - 2015

Keith Elvey sadly passed away on Friday 2nd January 2014.

The cause of death was a suspected Heart Attack - he was 57 years of age.

Our condolences go out to his family.

Keith Lived in Germany and had been a member of the charity only a short time.

He was a Gulf 1 veteran.

Rest in peace.
